Our Mission:

Educate and Encourage.

The Cranio Cutie Foundation exists to spread awareness and raise funds that support families with children facing surgery for Craniosynostosis.

Meet Annie

Annie is the daughter of Chris and Megan Ward. Annie was born in April 2013 with a rare syndrome called Saethre-Chotzen Syndrome. Along with this diagnosis, Annie also has a condition called Craniosynostosis. Craniosynostosis is a condition where the sutures in the skull close prematurely, causing problems with normal brain and skull growth. Because of this, Annie has already undergone four surgeries: September 2013, June 2014, December 2014, and most recent, July 2015.

The Cranio Cutie  Crawl 5K

Like running? Like supporting a good cause? This race is for you!

The Cranio Cutie Crawl is a FREE 5k run/walk that was started in 2013 to benefit Annie Ward and her family, and to bring awareness to craniosynostosis. All the money raised will be going to support craniosynostosis awareness.

Our Impact

The annual Cranio Cutie Crawl 5k race is our biggest yearly event. We've had over 650 runners that have raised over $30,000. What makes this so special is that the Cranio Cutie Crawl 5k is a free race, so all funds that have been raised have been generously donated by the people who have participated in the race.

We also partner with Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City to provide care packages for children and their families as they go through treatment for Craniosynostosis. To date we've been able to provide care packages for over 45 families in the Kansas City area. Each child and family that is affected by Craniosynostosis is special and we look forward to connecting with them and encouraging them through our care packages and our ongoing partnership with Children's Mercy Hospital.

Care packages sent

People matter, that's why this is our favorite number you'll see listed here. The prizes are fun, the money is great, but helping children and their families navigate the very tough treatment for Craniosynostosis is a blessing. We look forward to helping more families each and every month.

Prizes given away

This number is a testament to the businesses of Kansas City and their desire to make a positive impact on the people of our community. We are blessed to partner with great companies who want to do their part to help families in need.

dollars raised

We are thrilled to see so many people donate their hard-earned money to support families caring for their children and allowing those children to flourish.

We received one of your crates and we loved it. It had apple sauce in it and it was the only thing my daughter ate all day...she ate both packs. We can’t thank you guys enough.
